Climate KIC
Climate KIC is the EU’s main public-private innovation partnership focused on climate change. It is one of three Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) created in 2010 by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. KIC Climate integrates education, entrepreneurship and innovation resulting in connected, creative transformation of knowledge and ideas into economically viable products or services that help to mitigate and adapt to climate change. It works with dynamic companies, the best academic institutions and public sector actors. Climate KIC’s activities are organized around 4 themes: Urban Transitions, Sustainable Production Systems, Decision Metrics & Finance, and Sustainable Land Use.
